For me personally Kigali was one of the safest cities I’ve been to globally. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and safe navigating the city by myself. However, do remember and keep in mind that this was my personal experience and each traveler's experience is different. While there, I would suggest maintaining the same alertness and taking safety precautions as you would in any major city.
